After reading this little article in time magazine, you see the assumption that every girl growing up in this world is eager to have that fairy-tale ending; the want for a destiny of marriage and a family. But many don't achieve this ending, especially the ending of a Royal Wedding. But you see in the quote a brief history of Kate Middleton's childhood. She was a great student athlete! As growing up, she probably knew what her future had entaled. She would inevitably become Queen standing beside her King, her "prince charming." She could have been anything she wanted though. I feel when you look at society, it is almost a social acceptance to get married and start a family. But young women have to realize that that type of future doesnt have to be their happy ending. They can strive to have a future of what interests them, what they love to do. A happy ending doesnt have to meen marriage. Kate Middleton didnt really have that choice. But many do. Should you take advantage of that freedom?
